What most of newbies do wrong when creating content for their adsense sites
As most of you know, I hold an article service in the Jr.VIP section, and although I focus only on the jr.Vips, lately I got a bunch of new clients trough recommendations, and a lot of them made the same mistakes when ordering content. So I figured out it would be a good idea to write a thread about it and explain you guys my opinion when it comes to creating content for adsense sites. This are just my notes, I don't think of my self as the adsense content guru, but I experimented a lot with content and keywords in the last two months, so here are some things which you should note when asking your writers to create content for your MNS sites.
YOUR CONTENT SHOULD NOT GIVE AN ANSWER TO THE VISITOR!
You are not creating a content locker site, your are not earning trough your content, your are earning trough your ads, which means that your content should not offer an answer to the query which it ranks for - your ads should do that! If you are targeting the keyword "lawyer services in New York", then don't write about lawyers and give out contact numbers - let your ads do that, not you! A visitor will not click on an add if he does not have a damn good reason for it. Write about something connected to that niche which is enough interesting to keep the visitor for the next 20 sec there, so he can see the add and click on it.
FIND PROPER KEYWORDS WHICH GIVE RESULTS
If you target the keyword "Porsche 911" and write general information about that car, mostly fans of that car will Google that keyword and come to your site, out of 200 visitors only 3 guys will click on some connected ads (just an example)
But, if you target the keyword "Porsche 911 for sale" and write general information about that car and your experience selling it, buyers will come to your site, read the content, see that it's not what they are looking for, they will note the first add on their left which says "buy a used Porsche 911 now" and click on it!
In my experience a "for sale" keyword generates more clicks then a regular keyword, which again connects to the above part which I mentioned - target a keyword which targets people who look for a solution, then give them ads which solve their problem! Try to twist this.
AN ARTICLE HAS TO BE SEO OPTIMIZED PROPERLY!
If you want to earn trough adsense, you have to optimize your site, and especially your content. Without that you can forget about the #1 position. This is the most important step, I ranked some of my keywords without ANY backlinking, just with good SEO optimized content!
This means that you need content which has this requirements:
- at least 500 words
- bolded and underlined keywords (mentioned from 6 to 12 times in the whole article, depending on the KW)
- at least one video on the site (youtube, vimeo, etc)
- at least one image with your keywords at the alternate text
- Heading 1, heading 2 and heading 3 with your keyword
- at least one link to your other post on that site
I just could not believe that some clients actually asked me why I bold keywords in the articles, those things above are a must have if you want a proper post on your site!
HOW MANY ARTICLES SHOULD A MSN HAVE?
I personally always use 5 articles, each article targets one keyword.
They are all interlinked.
Almost all this information is probably available on this forum, but the main difference is that I actually tested all of this, and I can guarantee you adsense results if you just stick to those advices. Stop creating shitty sites and focus on good ones, easy as that.
